“SOLO 08” competition winners, juried by Katherine French, Director of the Danforth Museum of Art, Framingham, MA. Two solo shows by New England artists who are debuting in a commercial gallery.
Gallery I. Ann Kirchner: “Forget Me Not.” A collection of portraits by the Brighton, MA, painter that use pastel on coarse watercolor paper to play with atmospheric space.
Gallery II. Marilyn Ranker: “Open Doors.” Sculptures by the Cambridge, MA, artist incorporating wood and rope, which suggest interlocking generations.
