Kathy Snow Stratton: "Interstices"
In Stratton’s field paintings, the emptiness unifies all there is,
charged with latent energy. They are informed by the Maine woods late in
winter, when sunlight on leafless branches creates spaces between things.

Amy Furman: "New Work"
The order of an irregular grid informs Furman’s paintings, setting
up a dialog between its harmonies, rhythms, and movement. She thinks of
the paintings, built up in many layers, as slowly revealing themselves.
